How deals go

The booking is paid into escrow and released after the event; a deposit for damage is a second escrow, released back. A timer to the seller on the booking, set past the event, pays for an event that happened if the buyer goes quiet, and a timer to the buyer on the deposit brings it back. Before paying, visit the space and agree what is included: chairs, cleaning, sound.
